Spartan CEO testifies to Congress
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE Spartan Race CEO & others to testify in front of Congress over interference with political campaign contributions. BOSTON, MASS. (April 1, 2023) — Spartan and Tough Mudder, the world's leading endurance sports and extreme wellness brands, are being called before a congressional committee to defend their plans to make the world a tougher, fitter, and healthier place. Spartan Founder and CEO, Joe DeSena will testify before Congress to explain his role in interfering with the ability of Big Pharma, Fast Food, and Tobacco companies to sell their products aimed at undermining the health of millions. "We are seeing an incredible drop in the need for prescription medication, processed food consumption, and tobacco products," said a Philip Morris spokesman Sir Puffs Alot. "Thousands of so-called fitness enthusiasts are finding purpose and meaning by training for and completing the world's hardest events. What's worse, is that they are inspiring their friends and family to do the same." Spartan and Tough Mudder offer dozens of events around the world in formats ranging from 3K to 100K+ distance, but all with game-changing obstacles created to test every participant physically and mentally. "I hope all Spartans and Tough Mudders show us support during these tough times by not backing down," said Spartan Race, Inc Founder, Joe De Sena. "We won't stop until everyone in the world has the opportunity to live a healthier, happier, and harder life." For inquiries, comments, or complaints please reach out to dohardshit@spartan.com. | |
