"Ripley Rader was born out of L.A. We only exist because hard-working, caring people show up every day and give it their all. Our gratitude towards our community is truly beyond words. People have misconceptions about L.A.; that it's a vapid town with tons of emptiness, but this is far from the truth. It's a town of big hearts, dreams, and even bigger work ethics so to see our town unnecessarily ravaged is beyond reprehensible. I'm watching the news paint Los Angeles as this burning angry place and yes, we are angry because all we want to do is get back to work in peace. And of course, there will always be acts of defiance and violence, but on the whole, Los Angeles is quiet and grieving. As a small business in L.A. it's been a really rough go recently with the fires, the tariffs, and now this. But as a business owner proudly made in America, my resistance to this madness is to continue to supply jobs to my community and hopefully be a lighthouse to other business owners that might feel like throwing in the towel. My heart is heavy for our beautiful loving community, and I urge everyone who isn't in L.A. to talk to people who are actually here before you make assumptions about what is happening and who it's affecting. (Because I assure you it is impacting someone close to you very deeply). I've never been more proud to say "Made in Los Angeles" in the history of this company. We love you." | | | | |
