Oh, Peru... it left an indelible mark on me. I loved rummaging through Pisac's local markets, meeting warm-hearted people on local buses and witnessing the incredible biodiversity of the Madre de Dios region from my canoe. And yes, Machu Picchu is worth the hype.
Dry season (April-October) is perfect for trekking the Inca Trail and witnessing the captivating Inti Raymi festival—a celebration of the sun's warmth and life. What's not to love?
