I love wearing dresses with sneakers, pairing T-shirts with jeans, and slipping into a great pair of sandals. And my favorite fashion time of the year—spring—is nearly here! To celebrate, I'm sharing the pieces I've already purchased, as well as a few of the items topping my wishlist from retailers like Target, Madewell, Nordstrom, Amazon, and more.

I welcome every new season by first shopping at Target, and this shirt dress, this midi-length ballet dress, these $20 sandals (I swear by Target sandals), and these white sneakers are in my cart. I also spotted this flirty ruffle top at J.Crew and an easy-to-tuck-in style from Amazon that's on sale for $24. If you're shopping for jeans, I highly recommend Madewell's Kick Out Crop Jeans in white or the brand's just-launched The Emmett Wide-Leg Jeans that are available in nine different washes (the classic Lakecourt Wash is my favorite). Because spring always makes me want to update my bags, I'm eyeing this woven leather Madewell crossbody, but this Coach Outlet crossbody is noteworthy too because it's on sale for a whopping 64 percent off.

These ultra-comfortable linen shorts were my first spring purchase. In fact, I love them so much, I've picked up two more pairs. And this $40 3/4-sleeve ruffle shirt dress is perfect for when you want to feel relaxed, yet put together. I think we can all agree that spring can't arrive soon enough.
