Directed by Greg Kwedar, this film blurs the line between fiction and reality by casting real-life former inmates alongside seasoned actors like Colman Domingo and Paul Raci.
The story centers around the friendship between Divine G, a wrongly convicted prisoner, and Divine Eye, a penitentiary predator. Through the Rehabilitation Through the Arts (RTA) program, these men find unexpected paths to personal growth and hope.
As the men confront their pasts and embrace the challenges of prison theater, "Sing Sing" explores themes of redemption, friendship, and the capacity for personal growth, even in the harshest environments. The film offers a rare glimpse into the humanity often overlooked in the prison system. It's a must-see for anyone interested in art's power to change lives—even the lives of those behind bars. | | | EPOCH TV | | | OPINION | | | EPOCH FUN | | |
