Culture in the sunshine
If fantastic festivals, leisurely picnics in scenic parks and sun-drenched outdoor events sound like a bit of you, Solihull is where you need to be. From now until late September, the borough is hosting a deliciously diverse line-up of events, from star-studded music festivals to captivating theatre performances – many of which are free to attend – as part of its spectacular summer of culture.
With 1500 sprawling acres of lush greenery, including ancient woodland and wildflower meadows, Solihull truly lives up to its reputation as the "town in the country". The town boasts 16 Green Flag Awards, 150 miles of scenic paths through woodland and countryside, and has been honoured as a Tree City of the World for the third year running. Nature lovers, Solihull is calling.
