Asheville, NC The creek crossing, kettlebell maze, and barbed wire crawl were hits on the Asheville race course. Melbourne, Australia Flat terrain at Werribee tested both speed and agility, pushing racers to unlock faster PRs. Meanwhile, the kids event put more than 800 mini Spartans to the test. Bielsko-BIala, Poland After a three-year hiatus, Spartan returned to Poland this weekend with a difficult but stunning course near the Beskids Mountains. Rain didn't stop Polish racer Jolanta Papiór from taking home the gold. Ottawa, Canada It was a scorcher at the Ottawa course, but the lake swim and dunk wall in the sparkling Calabogie Lake kept athletes cool after working up a sweat. Camino de Costa Rica, Costa Rica The first-ever Highlander event in Costa Rica attracted true-grit hikers to get down and dirty while backpacking through the Costa Rican countryside in heavy rain. Ehden, Lebanon Hikers navigated the ups and downs of Lebanon's first ever Highlander Cedrus, which took backpackers through valleys, cliffsides, and cityscapes.
